AMC CLASSIC Shelby 10

We went to see the After Death movie and we were thinking about watching Five Night’s At Freddy’s too but halfway through the movie someone pulled the fire alarm and we all had to wait about 20 minutes before we could go back in and watch the rest. A woman told us that it was the second time within a month that someone randomly pulled the fire alarm. But overall everyone who worked there was nice and helpful, the bathroom was clean, but prices have went up a little bit.

The staff at this movie theater are amazing, but the manager Lisa is TERRIBLE! Always has been, always will be. She’s mean to the customers and the workers. I know for certain there is a guy that works there that is special needs and she’s the meanest to him. She picks at him and tries to get the workers to engage in picking on him. Truly disgusting and despicable! I promise you won’t catch me or my family at this establishment EVER again, especially if she’s there! Sorry to the staff that have to work with her. Something definitely needs to be done with her and her deplorable behavior.

Great theaters...clean, comfortable and excellent sound. Movie choices are definitely limited to bigger box office draws and more than half featured are child oriented films. Rarely show films even slightly left of center socially or artistically controversial, and forget seeing films in a foreign language with subtitles regardles of popularity, artistic merit or critical acclaim. The selection is definitely tailored to local market preferences. Thusly the films with extreme violence and other disturbing social maladies are definitely shown and are oddly eagerly audienced.

Nice theater. I have been going for years and some of the reviews you read about this movie theater are false. Very intimate, never really “crowded” and if you learn when to go, you can practically have one of the 10 cinemas to yourself. Staff is friendly, and very respectful. The bathrooms and facilities are clean. Sure....you’ll see an occasional wrapper or straw paper lying around, but, nothing excessive. No foul smells that I have ever encountered in the years I’ve attended. Always feel safe and secure! Prices are typical for a movie concession (not $16 for popcorn and an up charge for a lid as I have read) Definitely look into the stubs program they offer and download the AMC app on your mobile device. This is a nice place, and is ALWAYS our first choice. Amazing stadium seating, comfortable and a perfect setting for the amazing effects and quality screen with DdS.

I was in town only for the weekend and it was my first time visiting this theater. It was ‘ok’ overall. The service at the concession was a bit slow and not necessarily the friendliest. Also, the concessions area seemed a bit disorganized and dirty. But it didn’t help that some patrons also didn’t care about dropping things/trash on the floor and leaving it there. The screening room was your typical for most places. Chairs we’re not the most comfortable, but they weren’t bad either. Overall, i good place to watch a movie with the family.

This is a nice intimate and spacious small theater in the town of Shelby. The seating is new and clean and rarely crowded because Cleveland County is so localized. If you are looking for inexpensive tickets, low traffic and a nice movie off the beaten path, this location might be perfect for you. It is also located near the Cleveland Mall and many restaurants on Dixon Boulevard/ 74.
